We
hate being in them ourselves, but we sure love watching embarrassing moments!
Every girl has them, whether they admit it or not. And while it can be super
hard to recover from them, it certainly helps to laugh off other people’s
misfortunes (especially when they’re not real!). So here’s a look at our
favorite embarrassing movie moments we’re still chuckling over.
The Princess Diaries
At
a beach party, the mean, popular girls guide Mia into a tent to change out of
her clothes. As Mia is undressing, they pull the tent away, exposing the way
underdressed princess-to-be for all the paparazzi to greedily snap pics of.
This would be embarrassing enough in front of partygoers, but to have
semi-naked pictures plastered on all the newspapers the next day? Royally
humiliating.
A Cinderella Story
After
finding out that Sam and Austin have been emailing back and forth, Shelby and
Sam’s stepsisters mock Sam by putting on a ridiculing skit at the school pep
rally, mimicking Sam and revealing to everyone that Sam is Austin’s secret
admirer. Later on, Sam is taunted and laughed at by everyone in the school
halls! Yikes. We’d be mortified if our secret crush was broadcasted to the
whole school!
Princess Protection Program
When
popular girls feel threatened, they get mean. So when Rosie starts becoming
more and more popular because of her friendly attitude, Chelsea and Brooke plan
revenge. Rosie starts working at a yogurt shop, and the mean girls rig the
machines to constantly stay on—meaning yogurt pours out nonstop, faster than
Rosie can clean up! She ends up slipping and getting covered in the messy
stuff, but holds her head high. And her friend comes to her rescue, dumping a
cone of the spilled yogurt on Chelsea’s head!
Legally Blonde
Elle
Woods tries her best to be upbeat and friendly, but her naivety leads her to
trust Vivian too soon. Vivian invites her to a party, telling her it’s a
costume party. So unsuspecting Elle arrives in a bunny costume—revealing, silly
and, of course, pink. Unfortunately, the party is not a costume event after
all, resulting in many laughs from the guests. Whoops!
