The Scoop: Why guys go gaga for ta-tas


 
Why are guys so interested in girls’ boobs? I mean, they are just breasts! It’s not that big of a deal.
 
Dave: Maybe to you they are just breasts but, for guys, they take on a mystical quality. I can’t really explain it, which is  pretty much the definition of mystical. It’s one of those things you shouldn’t be expected to understand, but it’s a fact of life that’s not likely to change.
 
Bill: Great question. Some guys can be so shallow. A truly well-rounded guy is interested in legs, face and hair, too.  As usual, Dave and I try to do our part to bring the conduct of the male gender up a notch.

I know this isn't fair, but boys will be boys. Almost all of the girls at my school prance around with super short skirts and plunging necklines. Then they are offended when someone looks. I mean, come ON! If you're going to wave your breasts in my face, where do you expect me to look? I've seen girls staring at other girls' chests, too. Guys aren't the only ones. Come on, guys! You've all had your girl crushes, whether you know it or not.
Before people start screaming at me, I know, I know. A lot of guys are just trying to get a show. But there really are some decent guys out there. And if girls don't give everyone a reason to look, everyone would be happy. Guys AND girls would look at our faces, not our breasts. Just keep that in mind before you start saying "OMG ALL GUYS ARE PERVS!!!" Smile Happy Girlhood!

Ok GL this is kinda random, but i think some of your quizzes are messed up. On one quiz i had 7 b's 1 a and 1c. It said i had mostly A's. Also, that sometimes happens on other quizzes. Just letting you know.

It will come <3 Hang in there! And like I said, if you're concerned/have questions, don't be afraid to talk to your doctor. They're probably going to say the same thing (that it's normal and it will come when it's ready), but it might make you feel better to hear it from them.

Im still scared. My mom says im fine and that it'll come...but im still worried sick. I have a zit on my nose that just came overnight and cramps on and off...so scared!




Hey girl,

I know it's scary because it's unfamiliar and you can't predict what's going to happen, but your mom is right. It will come! We've all had irregular periods - it's actually rare for your period to come on the exact same day every month. There are sooo many little things that can delay it, and none of those things mean you're sick or something is wrong with you. You have nothing to be scared about. Stop worrying and it will come faster!
