Lexington Larrabee is the girl everyone
wishes they could be. She’s carefree, super fun, and gets whatever she wants.
And she’s about to have access her $25 million trust fund…until now.
Super rich and spoiled, this heiress gets a
wakeup call when her never-present dad, the CEO of Larrabee Media, decides she
needs to shape up once she slams her expensive Mercerdes-Benz convertible into
a convenience store after a night of partying. The deal is that Lexi won’t get
her trust fund until she completes 52 minimum wage jobs—a different one each
week.
Lexi’s father wants her to appreciate
working and hopes to instill values into the gal who has never worked a day in
her life. Extremely hesitant, Lexi won’t do the work, until she realizes what
will happen if she doesn’t: her credit cards will be canceled, bank account
frozen, and allowance suspended. So, she reluctantly agrees.
To
make it worse, Lexi’s father’s new intern, Luke Carver, is super annoying, but
kind of cute. He’s there to drive her to each job, make sure she successfully
completes every task and reports her progress to her father.
So,
what are some jobs Lexi must do? Being a maid, working in a grocery store,
working at a barn, and working at a restaurant. Lexi is going to be tested, but
will she learn anything from these experiences?
