Lucas Cruikshank, a.k.a.
“Fred Figglehorn,”
the hyperactive YouTube phenomenon, is back for another installment of the Fred flicks. And what does he have up
his sleeve this time?
Fred 3: Camp Fred,
set to premiere this
Saturday, July 28,
at
8 p.m. ET/PT on
Nickelodeon.
As the title suggests, the
TV movie is all about Fred’s adventures at summer camp, which his mother,
against his wishes, enrolls him in. But who could blame Fred for not wanting to
go? After all, the camp’s name is Camp Iwannapeepee. Um, gross.
At first, the camp proves
to live up to its “world’s worst summer camp” reputation, but Fred’s luck takes
a turn for the better when he befriends a unique group of characters: Magoo,
Dig, Spoon and Chatter. With their help, Fred changes his attitude and develops
a loyalty to his camp, resolving to defeat the rival Camp Superior at the annual
Summer Camp Games.
