MOD MOD MOD
Hey this is totally off topic but I'm really freaked...
So this year I'm changing schools. I've always gone to an extremely small private school(like 400 kids in the whole k-12)and this year I'm going to public(900 kids 9th-12th). My mom teaches there so I kind of have a little insight but I'm still super nervous. See, she teaches the lower level classes and I'm not in that end of the spectrum and it's a really huge high school so it's not like she'll know, at least really well, the people I'll be in class with or be anywhere near me all day so other than knowing the other teachers well she might as well not be there. I'm just super nervous. How can I make a good first impression, focus, and not panic that first day or two of school? And OMG I just thought of something kind of terrifying, where in the world do I sit at lunch? Please reply ASAP! Any advice would be great! Thanks so much!

hey! starting in a new place is really stressful, but the key is not to be to hard on yourself. don't be afraid of introducing yourself to people. at lunch ask if you can sit with a group and participate in their conversation. you can even break the ice by sharing your feelings about changing schools. Just stay relaxed and to do that think or do whatever calms you the most good luck!
