The
new zom com from the creators of
Coraline,
ParaNorman,
is creeping to theaters
Friday, Aug. 17. Are you excited?!
Just
in time to start getting us in the Halloween mood, the flick follows Norman, a
boy who can, yes, talk to ghosts. One of our newest obsessions, twelve-year-old
Tucker Albrizzi, voices the role of
Neil, Norman’s quirky best—and only—friend, who finds it awesome that he talks
to ghosts.
We
caught up with Tucker and had him spill all on his biggest fears, his best
friend and his embarrassing parents. Check it out!
He doesn’t
really dig coasters…“I went on the new Six Flags Green Lantern [ride] with my
brother, and I was so freaked out! You’re sitting in a chair and it does a
360-loop…your individual chair is spinning around while you’re going down the
track. I [rode it] once, and then I ran home.”
…and is also
afraid of… ““Spiders,
great white sharks and ghost stories. They’ll just creep me out.”
But, if he had
the choice between ghost, witch or zombie, he’d wanna be a ghost. “I would do
[pranks], like take my brother’s wallet and all the stuff he needs and just
hide them somewhere.”
He has chores
like any other kid. “I have a lot of chores—laundry, take out the trash…all that
good stuff.
His parents
love sharing pics. “When my friends are at my house, they’ll just come out and
show pictures of my baby self. It humiliates me. They’ll be like, ‘Baby Tucker,
age 1.’”
He wants you
to see ParaNorman. “It’s funny,
kind of scary and has a nice point about bullying and how it’s a horrible
thing. Everyone should check it out!”
