Dry shampoos were pretty much the best thing that ever
happened to me (er, my hair). I’m a firm believer that hair doesn’t need to be
washed every day—or even every other day, depending on how you style it—and
that sometimes dirty hair just looks better.
But then there’s the problem of roots—they can get a bit
slick after a day or two without suds, and that’s never cute. So when dry
shampoos entered the scene, I was ecstatic. Finally, a spray-on solution that
left hair looking clean, plus added a bit of gritty texture (perf for styling)
without the chalkiness of using baby powder (an old trick to fix the same
sitch).
I even spray dry shampoo on my clean hair sometimes, just because I like the look. But here’s the
thing about dry shampoos: they can also make hair look, well, dry. (Shocking, I
know.)
Enter dry conditioners. When the got2b Rockin’ It Dry
Conditioner landed on my desk, I squealed. This spray combines the texture of
dry shampoo with the silkiness of a shine spray. Alone, it works as the
easiest-ever way to get locks that look mussed up, but still pretty. And if
you’re in need of a real wash—like,
after gym class—it layers perfectly over dry shampoo.
Do you like using dry shampoo? Are you going to grab this
dry conditioner? Tell us in the comments!
