It’s almost the big day! The first day of school can make any
girl feel like her tummy’s full of butterflies.
We wanna make sure you’re prepped beauty-wise for the big day: Print out
this handy beauty checklist a week before school starts and you’ll be ready for
anything that comes in your way!
A week before school starts...
___Whiten your teeth.
Try Crest’s 3D Whitestrips, Gentle Routine Dental Whitening Kit. If you’re
looking for a budget-friendly way to whiten those teeth, we’ve heard that all
you need are some strawberries and a little bit of baking soda. Mash the
strawberries into a pulp and mix it together with some baking soda. Spread on your teeth with a soft toothbrush
and rinse after 5 minutes. Try no more than once a week!

Kit, $33, drugstore.com
___Experiment with new school
looks. Have some fun with this! Invest in colorful eyeshadows and
liners. Try to buy as many things as you can with only
$25. Or buy one huge palette with tons of colors like e.l.f.’s 100 piece
eyeshadow palette. Try out a swipe of blue liner, or a greenish smokey eye.
Just remember not to go too heavy for school.
___Focus on cleansing your
skin daily to prevent embarrassing breakouts on your first day back.
We heart this foaming cleanser from Clean & Clear.
Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser, $4,
drugstore.com
___Optional: Faux glow. This
moisturizer should give you a full shade of color in just three days flat.
Self-tanners smell weird, so make sure to do this a few days in advance.
Jergens Natural Glow Express Body Moisturizer, $10, ulta.com
___ Get a new haircut or hairstyle
that screams “I spent my days this summer having fun out in the sun!” (Hint:
ombre hair.)
Plus, getting a haircut gets rid of split ends that can make your hair not look
as pretty.
The night before school starts…
___Decide on a cute first-day
hairdo and makeup. Trying it out beforehand will decrease the amount
of stress you have on the big day (and will make sure you won’t be late for
school!).
___Put a spoon in the freezer
the night before. In the a.m., place the cold spoon on your eyes to
get rid of any puffiness!
___Apply a zit zapper
if you have any pimples (or newly forming pimples).
___Paint toes and fingers.
Play around with new designs—a total conversation starter! We recommend Sally
Hansen’s Nail Polish Strips because you can find the perf pattern to match your
personality and your BTS outfit! For your toes, check
this post out for the
perf pedi.

___Pack beauty necessities in
your backpack. Have you thought of some of these?
a)
Breath mints
b)
Tampons or pads
c)
Tinted lip balm/ chap stick/ fave lip gloss
d)
Hand lotion
e)
Hand sanitizer
f) Oil
blotting sheets
g)
Compact mirror
On the big day…
___Bring a water bottle
with you to class to keep your skin hydrated and body refreshed (Make sure to
use a reusable water bottle!).
___Give yourself at least an
hour to get ready. You don’t want to feel rushed, so set that alarm
early!
___Slip on two hair elastics
on your wrist. That way, you have one for you (and a friend) if you
need one! This is especially handy if you have gym class or after-school
sports.
___If you’re using mascara
day of, sit on it while you eat breakfast. This will make the product
easier to work with because it will soften up a little bit. Handy, right?
___Unexpected bad hair day? Put
your hair into two braids or put on a cute headband that matches with your BTS
outfit.
___Keep in mind that if
you put on eye makeup, you should wear a nude lip color or gloss. If you want to
wear a more colorful lip, wear a more neutral eye.
___Gently brush your lips
with a toothbrush after you brush your teeth. This will make your
lips soft and smooth. Then put on some lip balm or Vaseline for a kiss of
moisture!
___Wear sunscreen. Yep,
the sun is still strong enough now to do some damage.
___Beauty is internal,
so make sure to smile and be confident! Good luck!
You’re ready to go! If
you already had a beauty checklist, hopefully you can add some of these things
onto it.
