I really like this one guy, but I don't have any classes with him, he barely knows me, and it would be just weird I'd I started talking to him. How do I make my move?
 
Hey girl! Try finding out some of his interests and ask him about them. Maybe he's on the football team? Ask him when the next game is. Or maybe he likes art? Tell him you noticed his artwork and you really liked it. Maybe he'll teach you pointer with painting. Finding out his interests will help you think of conversation starters, and then, who knows, maybe you two will have some common interests. You could also try asking him about the different classes he is taking. Find out what he's learning. If he has the same teacher but at a different time, suggest to be study buddies.
 
Even though making the first move can be a bit scary at first, in the end it will pay off. Gaining the courage to talk to him will help you feel more confident with yourself in future and prepare you for other situations when you want your voice to be heard. Making that extra effort to talk to him will show him you care and are interested in him. Good luck!

I just got my school schedule and realized i have NO classes with friends. I dont know what to do! I wanna make new friends, but i'm not so good at it and alsi, what are some tips for speaking in front of people? I have to do that soon too.

This can be a great chance to branch out and make new friends! Try to be optimistic! Check out these links - the first is about public speaking, and the second is a list of articles about how to make friends. Read through them and snag some great tips for your sitch. The most impotant thing is to take a deep breath, be yourself, and push yourself a little past your comfort zone. Latch onto friends who have a lot in common with you and it'll be smooth sailin!
