Hey girl! Try finding out some of his interests and ask him about them. Maybe he's on the football team? Ask him when the next game is. Or maybe he likes art? Tell him you noticed his artwork and you really liked it. Maybe he'll teach you pointer with painting. Finding out his interests will help you think of conversation starters, and then, who knows, maybe you two will have some common interests. You could also try asking him about the different classes he is taking. Find out what he's learning. If he has the same teacher but at a different time, suggest to be study buddies.

 

Even though making the first move can be a bit scary at first, in the end it will pay off. Gaining the courage to talk to him will help you feel more confident with yourself in future and prepare you for other situations when you want your voice to be heard.
