Summer
is winding to a close and school’s maybe already in session…but why not throw
one last sleepover to celebrate the awesome summer you had and practice
makeovers to get ready for the new school year?
Grab your fave beauty goodies, yummy snacks and sleeping bags and get
ready for the best BTS slumber party ever!
Invitation to beautify
Send
out adorable invitations to all your girls that give the deets on your slumber
party. Make sure to include that guests
should bring their best beauty products, a sleeping bag, pillow and to be ready
to party in style! You can send e-vites online or go old school with snail
mail.
Décor-ama
Make
your party space totally spa-like by hanging fabric in cool colors (blue,
green, purple) to add to the mood. Yummy
candles also set the ambiance. Next, set
up stations for hair, makeup, nails, etc.
To find super cheap spa tools, check out a dollar store, which often has
brushes, nail kits and everything else you might need for just a little
moolah. Pump your favorite hits from the
summer and feel free to dance and sing-along, it’s your own spa after all!
Spa pour moi
Each
girl can pick which stations they would like to visit, and also which stations
they want to help out with. Your artsy
friend will totally be into painting cool nail designs and your friend who’s a
whiz with a curling iron can do hair.
Make your way around the stations to try out different looks for the new
school year. Pamper yourself to relax
before the stress of homework starts again.
DIY beauty treatments are super easy to do: Try a homemade lip scrub by combining brown
sugar and olive oil. Or, make a fun face
mask by mixing lemon juice with olive oil to exfoliate.
Crafty chicas
Gather
all your girls to make a collage of summer fun.
Grab pics of all your friends and summer memories, along with some
magazines to snip and paste. Make the
collages the perfect size to fit in your locker and you’ll be able to bask in
sweet summertime memories all year long.
Spa-worthy snacks
A
celebratory slumber party needs shmancy snacks too! Make a fancy dessert/drink by spooning yummy
flavors of sorbet into a super-cold glass and topping with sparkling
cider. For an equally fancy snack, try
making cake pops with pretty icing and special food glitter to top them off.
