Most girls report that getting your ear lobe pierced is pretty painless. You’ll feel a sharp pinch for a few seconds, and your ears might be throbbing for a few hours after the fact, but it should not hurt. And so long as you take care of your new piercings, turning your posts and cleaning the hole daily with hydrogen peroxide, you should be able to ward of infection.

I got mine done at walmart with a piercing gun and the lady who did it did my ears uneven and the needle wasnt sterilized... i could tell cuz i got an ear infection and a blood clot in my ear and had to have surgery and even that didnt work so yea definitely if u get them pierced get them done professionally unless u wanna get plastic surgery in the future if u ever wanna get them again :/

I got my ears pierced when I was 3 and a quarter, so I only remember a little, but I remember that I got them pierced at Bombay Jewelers, an Indian jewelry place, and it hurt a little when it was getting pierced, and it hurt a little bit later, but it's not too bad. just follow all the instructions they give you about not changing your earrings for some amount of time, and not wearing drop earrings for some other amount of time.
