Football 101: Teams to root for (and hotties to watch)

When your big bro and his (super hot high school) friends commandeer the living room every Sunday afternoon, you’ve got two choices: You can parade in and out to hunt for snacks and covertly eye the couch candy…or you can be one of the guys for a few hours and some major flirting. And who knows? You might even discover a love for pigskin that goes way beyond powderpuff. Grab a jersey and get ready to hunker down with the dudes, darlin’. Here’s our season preview of who to root for (and which sideline candy to cheer on).

If you’re looking for a great defense…check out the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.

If you’re looking for an awesome offense…watch the New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.

If you want to watch a fab quarterback…keep an eye on Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning.

If you want to jump on the bandwagon…follow the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers or the Detroit Lions.

If you want to root for the underdog…cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts.

If ya just want some eye candy…you’ll definitely want to watch Rob Gronkowski, tight end for the New England Patriots; Calvin Johnson, wide receiver of the Detroit Lions; Torrey Smith, wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens; and Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez, both quarterbacks for the New York Jets. All talented and super cute!
