Step 1: Draw a line with your fingers from the front of your ears to the top of your head. Clip all of the hair in front of that line together. You’ll be saving it for later.
Step 2: Brush out all of the hair behind that line so it’s easy to handle. Once it’s brushed out, grab a one-inch section and stand it straight up. Spray it with some major-hold hairspray.
Step 3: At the back of that section, place the brush about halfway between the end of your hair and your scalp and pull the brush down towards your scalp (the opposite way you’d usually comb your hair). Repeat 3 or 4 times. It’s going to look messy, but you’ll cover it up with the hair from the front of your head.
Step 4: Repeat the same process with 5-7 more one-inch sections evenly spaced around your head.
