When I text the guy I like, we text forever. But when I talk to him in person with all my friends around he doesn't talk to me as much. Why is that?

His Answer: “Guys don’t want to act too sweet when other people are around, so we tend to try and act cooler in front of friends and only show interest when it's one-on-one," reveals Matt, 15. "Also when it’s a group of our friends, there are other people around to talk to and hangout with, but if it's people we don’t know, it’s usually shyness that keeps us quiet.”

Decoded: Boys often worry about keeping up appearances in front of their friends. They don’t want to be seen as too sweet or affectionate with other people there. Plus, despite what they want you to think, guys can be quite shy. When you’re standing with a group of girls he’s not too close with you might seem intimidating.

MOD MOD MOD!! me and this boy were friends last year than bf gf in the summer and now we r just friends. but i never wanted it to end because he is such a nice guy. and for the past couple of days he has been trying to catch up with me at the end of the day everyday, im am a little confused onwhat he is thinking. does he still like me or is he just trying to be nice?

This guy that i like always hugs me and pokes me and even gave up sitting with his friends to come sit with me. He even put his arm around the back of my chair

Okay, so my crush and I used to b super close, we would text everyday, and talk at school all the time. It was pretty obvious that he liked me, even tho at the time I liked someone else as well as him. But over the summer his phone broke, and we totally lost contact. And I just got my schedule, and we have no classes together this year!!!! What can I do to stay friends and get him to like me?

I have thesame problem. I text my crush all the time. It starts at 6:30 am and ends at 10 at night. But, when I see him in theatre, he doesn't talk to me as much. I never get to talk to him because he doesn't go to my school. How can I get him to talk to me in person?
