Shop Taylor Swift's new music video


 
Just last week, Taylor Swift released the video for her super catchy new single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”. And here at GL, we simply cannot get enough of Tay’s cute ‘n’ quirky outfits in the vid.

If you’re lookin’ for some fresh fashion inspiration and love the country cutie’s style as much as we do, read on to score a look at clothes inspired by the new pop anthem!

 

The video starts with Taylor sitting on her couch in the most adorable PJ set. We found a cozy pair from Target, complete with the cutest little owls, and in colors similar to Ms. Swift’s. How perfect!

The set of the video then changes to Taylor trying to talk to her beau at the kitchen table—but he just isn’t listening! Don’t worry, Tay, we hear ya. Luckily, we also see ya, and you’ve donned quite a trendy outfit. Taylor loves classic patterns like stripes and polka dots in attention-grabbing colors, like red.

The video ends with a dance party at Tay’s apartment, complete with musicians in animal costumes and friends alike. Taylor hops around in a fun, yet chic, printed dress. We love one like this from Forever 21. A skinny belt to cinch your waist makes a great addition.

ok so totally off topic but theres this guy, Jake, who i like and he likes me (he told me) and we would go out, but neither of us our allowed so we're just like really clsoe friends. And we text each other everyday,but our conversations are getting boring. We never have anythign to really talk about. We dont see each other that much and we go to diffrent schools. What are some good things to talk about that can lead to good conversations?? and he tends to say "yep" or "cool" alot, so what do i say when he says that?? And i like texting him, but hes so much easier to talk to in person. What are some good things to do on weekends or something we can both do with a group of friends?? thanks so much xxxx

 

Hey girlie, talk about things that you have in common. If there's a TV show that you both love to watch talk about what happened in it.  Also make sure that you're asking him questions so that it's harder for him to respond with one word answers. And if he does respond with a one word answer, follow it with a question to keep the conversation moving. You can go out to dinner with friends or see a movie. More active things like laser tag and bowling are fun too.

I love Taylor but I felt like this was not at all her style. The clothes and the lipstick of course were her but her background people and the nerd glasses felt wrong. But I don't know her personally so maybe she has switched up her style, plus the song was sort of different too.

I love Taylor Swift and I love this song so much! I also love the clothes she wears! Smile I liked how it kinda showed a story but when her band were dressed up as animals it kinda confused me.

I am a fan of Taylor's style. I liked the video for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" but I feel like not much happened in it, which I know is hard to do in only one take, but I honestly think it was a little boring.

I don't like school. I don't like my new school, it doesn't feel like a good fit for me at all. In the hallways people push me around a lot sometimes purposfully and I hate the school.

Hey girl,

I'm so sorry people are being unkind to you and that you're unhappy at your new school! Try making a new friend with someone in your class or at lunch -- if someone looks nice, just introduce yourself and try to start a conversation! Once you start making friends, school will seem a lot better. If things are bad, you should talk to your parents or to a teacher or guidance counselor at the school about what's happening so that you can get the best advice and they can take action if necessary. Things will get better, I promise!
