Copy Hannah Simone's cute coral look for Homecoming

Hannah Simone fluttered in front of cameras in her floral print dress as she arrived at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. This year, she won the award for Choice TV Breakout Star for her role as Jess’ (played by Zooey Deschanel) model-esque BFF in New Girl. We love how Hannah brings balance to these bright colors by pairing a warm orangey blush with that fiery lip. Because her dress is cool-toned, it makes her glow even more! Spy our quick steps to getting this look for your big fall dance below.

Step 1. Spot correct any blemishes or imperfections with a medium- to full-coverage concealer. When it comes to makeup, the hardest part is probably finding a foundation and concealer that works best for your skin type. We recommend stopping by a department store makeup counter, Sephora, or M.A.C. for help to get a near-perfect match. Hannah uses Shiseido’s Natural Finish Cream Concealer in Honey Miel #6. Make skin flaw-free by patting and blending it out with your fingers over dark areas and spots.

Step 2. Create a slight wing with black eyeliner. Using a liquid eyeliner could help create a more crisp line like in Hannah’s look. Try Milani’s Infinite Liquid Eyeliner in Everlast. This bad boy is waterproof, smudge-proof and smear-proof for 24 hours!

Step 3. Apply two coats of black mascara to your upper lashes and lower lashes. Really build up and brush through those lashes! We heart L’Oreal’s Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara.

Step 4. Apply a blush with an orange base to the apples of the cheeks. We recommend using Nars Liberte Blush with a light hand for the perf orangey flush.

Step 5. Now for the fun part: Finish the look with a coral-hued moisturizing lipstick or coral lip gloss. We personally love NYX’s Round Case Lipstick in Femme. This product is velvety on lips and leaves a shiny finish just like on Hannah’s pucker.
