Though naysayers scoff at the idea of a 19-year-old representing such a troubled region, she remains confident in her abilities to champion the interests of those who voted for her. “It’s not about the age," she says. “It’s about the brain.”
Like her father before her, Proscovia seeks to dedicate herself to issues that will improve her locale, like building roads, fighting cattle rustling and improving education.
