My crush was cruel! Should I tell his parents?


 
I liked this boy, but he sent me an e-mail saying he doesn’t like me. His letter was mean, rude and hurtful. I told his parents, and they had a long talk with him. He called to apologize. I forgave him, but I still feel angry. When I see him, I want to say all sorts of things to him. He can’t even look at me.

You told his parents?! Usually girls don’t involve other kids’ parents unless a situation feels frightening or dangerous. But it sounds as if he has learned that his actions were stupid and immature. Since he has already apologized, move on and let it go. Not easy. But get busy with friends, sports, activities and maybe even a new crush. Oh, I am so sorry to hear that - I'm sure it really does hurt to miss him.  If there's no way to contact him, maybe you could do something special in his memory.  For example, you could make a scrapbook of pics of him, or go to the park where you two used to play.  xoxo
