We are beyond thrilled that one of our fave TV shows is
coming back for a second season this
Friday,
Oct. 5, at
8:30 p.m. ET/PT. Of course, we’re talking about Disney Channel’s
Jessie!
In this latest episode, "The Whining," the Ross
kids get spooked after a scary old doorman spills a building legend about a
nanny who did "something terrible" to the kids in her care on
Halloween, all while Jessie and Tony work together to crash an exclusive
Halloween party.
We were lucky enough to catch up with Peyton List, who plays Christina and Morgan’s only biological
child, 14-year-old Emma Ross. Read on to get the inside scoop from the new
episode and season—straight from the source!
GL: What’s one of the funniest things that
happened while filming the new season of Jessie?
Peyton: In this week's episode, we were doing an epic
battle of impersonating each other. Cameron [Boyce] was doing his best
impression of Karan [Brar], then Karan picked me. I picked Skai [Jackson], and
Skai acted like Cameron! It was so funny and fun. We realized that we all
knew way too much about each other because everyone was spot on with
their impressions.
Which was your favorite
scene to film and why?
I loved filming the
scene from "The Whining" where Jessie and the Ross kids are running
away from the "killer" on the thirteenth floor! It's scary and
funny—sort of a Scooby-Doo style
chase.
If you
could take home one outfit from your Emma’s wardrobe this season, which would
you pick?
One of my favorites
this season was an orange couture dress. It was so fun getting to dress up. And
then there’s this cameo green vest with a fun Free People shirt underneath that
she wears in "The Whining.” It's a very cute.

There are a lot of
spooky things going on that you will not want to miss! There's blood, an evil
