GL girl Jessica K. from Indianapolis, Indiana, has a beauty style
all of her own! Her goal is to wear makeup that brings out her natural beauty;
she sticks to the basics and doesn’t layer on too much stuff. Jessica loves
playing around with natural tones--especially shimmery shadows--to add some
glam! Check out some of pondhouse’s faves
for a perfectly simplistic look suitable every day!
Three ways to describe my beauty style: Classic
and glam, Fresh-faced and simple, and Total beauty babe!
I wear makeup… Most of
the time, but it's okay to skip some days!
My best beauty tips: If you
are really struggling with baggy eyes, try swiping liquid concealer on the lid
of your eye. I know it sounds strange, but if it is the right shade, it will
make you look much more awake.
Fave lip product: Soft
Lips Lip Protectant in Vanilla
Why I love it: It tastes
great and keeps my lips from drying up, a must as it starts to get chilly!

Fave eye product: Mary Kay
Mineral Eye Color in Honey Spice
Why I love it: It gives
my eyes a slight shimmer, makes me look more awake and still looks clean and
natural.

Fave mascara: Maybelline
Falsies Blackest Black
Why I love
it: The curve of the brush allows me to swipe my lashes
once and be done. Love that!
Fave face coverage product: CoverGirl
Clean Liquid Makeup in Warm Beige
Why I love it: Although
I don't use it much, it comes in handy when I need a quick swipe under my eyes
to get rid of any puffiness.
CoverGirl Clean Liquid Makeup in Warm Beige, $5, walmart.com
Fave face color product: CoverGirl
Clean Pressed Powder in Soft Honey
Why I love it: It
gives me a fresh-faced, rosy look and doesn't take much to blend into my
natural skintone.

Honey, $5, walmart.com
Fave skincare product: Clearasil
Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream
Why I love it: It keeps
my skin clear and dulls the shine on my face so I don't look like I'm covered
in plastic wrap ;)

Fave tool: Compact
hairbrush with mirror
Why I love it: You can
stash it in any purse or clutch easily and it's great for touch ups on the go!
