My school held an awards ceremony for the entire junior class one day. They gave out awards for the students holding the top 10 GPAs in our grade. I was called up last because I have the highest GPA in our class. When I went up to get the award, they centered me in the middle of the group for our pictures, instead of letting me stand next to my boyfriend, who has the fourth highest GPA. After the picture was taken and the applause died down, I walked towards the back where my boyfriend and I were sitting. But before I could, he stopped me and he kissed me in front of our entire class. The applause picked back up again and even the teachers were clapping and smiling. It was the best awards ceremony I have ever been to.
