13 days of spooktacular nails: Day 1 Boo! nails


 
Today marks the first day of Spooktacular Nails! Each day we’re showing you sweeties a new nail design that’s perfect for showin’ your Halloween spirit. So grab some polish, some good tunes and a couple of friends and get started. Happy painting!

 

Today’s nail design is a classic with its two-toned colors and haunted saying. It screams Halloween!

 

What you need:

 

Black nail polish
White nail polish
Tooth picks
Paintbrush
Hair dryer (optional, used at a low setting to speed up the drying process)

 

What you’ll do:

 

1. Paint your nails white and let dry.
2. On your pinkie and thumb use a toothpick to dab on polka dots using the black nail polish. The toothpick will give you a variation of dots.
3. On your middle three fingers, spell out “Boo” putting one letter on each fingernail. You can use a toothpick to write out the letters, but a paintbrush will give you a straighter edge. Psst: It’s OK if your letters come out squiggly—it gives ’em a scarier vibe!

so i have a tumblr account and sometimes i see girls saying that they're super depressed. what should i say to them to help them? i feel guilty if i just scroll past it but i don't wont to say something that will make it worse. any advice?

If it is someone you know, you could try talking to them in person and suggesting they speak with a trusted adult such as a teacher, guidance counselor, parent or doctor asap.
