So
you’re super pumped to be the tough Katniss Everdeen for Halloween, but you
don’t know how you’re gonna pull off her awesome braid? No worries, here are
some step-by-step instructions for getting your ’do ready for the arena.

Step 1: Use a dollop of Pantene

Step 2: Begin a Dutch braid on the left side of your
head, directly above your ear. A Dutch braid is done in the same style as a
French braid, but instead of pulling the pieces over, you pull them under. This allows the braid to look as if it’s sticking up
off the scalp.
Step 3: As you begin adding hair into the braid,
remember to move sideways along your head so the braid is moving toward the
right side of your head.
Step 4: Continue this until you reach the nape of
your neck. Once there, complete the side braid all the way down to the tip of
your hair. Tie with an elastic and pull on the braid slightly to loosen the
strands.
