Got Election Night jitters? Work off that pent-up energy by
creating a workout game around tonight’s marathon presidential election
coverage. From bust-a-sweat buzzwords to ab blasters and cardio bursts, here’s
how we’re spending our election evening. Come on, chicas, join Team GL!
When someone
says…"exit polls"
Spend 60 seconds high-stepping your way up and down a set of
stairs.
When you hear…"swing
state"
Bust out 20 bicycle crunches.
When you see…an
election button, sign or bumper sticker on camera
Drop to the ground and do 5 burpees, stat!
If there’s a
reference to…Hurricane Sandy
Hop up and pirouette your way around the living room.
If your candidate
wins a state…
Take a victory lap around the house.
If your candidate
loses a state…
Hit the floor and gimme 12 push-ups, pretties!
When a republican
voter, candidate or pundit is interviewed…
Grab a water bottle first in one hand, then the other, and
knock out 20 bicep curls on each side.
When a democrat
voter, candidate or pundit is interviewed…
Get down on the ground on all fours, back relaxed, and kick
your right leg out behind you, squeezing your booty. Draw your right knee to
your nose, then kick out again. Repeat 10 times, then switch sides.
And if a commentator
says “It’s just too close to call”?
Tag, you’re it! Chase a sibling or a bud around the house
for two minutes.
What are you doing tonight, babes?
