We all agree that
it’s totally frustrating when you can’t tell if your crush likes you back. I
mean, is he that friendly to everybody? Or just you? Was that smile an “I like
you smile,” or just a smile? It would be so much easier if we were all like
Edward Cullen and could read minds, but of course we can’t. Instead, we have to
watch for little clues to see what is on our cutie’s mind. So here are a few
things to look out for that might help you figure things out:
Poppin’ up
Does your cutie wait
for you after class or steal the seat next to you at lunch? It might mean
something if he always wants to be with you. Nobody would want to hang out with
someone they don’t like.
Focus
When a guy is
interested in you, he will listen to what you have to say. Does he look you in
the eyes? Eye contact is a sign that he is paying attention. Also, don’t be
surprised if he brings up little things from a your convo a few days later, like
your fave band.
Body language
You can tell a lot by
a guy’s body language. Check to see if he is leaning towards you, and the
directions of his hands and feet. If a he’s into you, he will lean in and his
body (especially knees and hands) will be facing towards you.
Getting personal
Think about what you
talk about. Things like homework are great convo starters, but he will want to
share part of himself with you. Have you discussed things like your dreams?
Friend problems? Talking about serious, but not overly personal, stuff can show
you how he views you. You wouldn’t talk about this stuff with just anybody, only
people you trust.
Keeping contact
Keep an eye out in
case he touches you because he will want to keep you close. Look out for when
he lets his hands graze yours when walking in the hallway, touches your lower
back or playfully nudges you.
