Something about a bold red lip always felt slightly clown-y to me, until I sat down with GL’s beauty editor Kelsey to sift through zillions of tubes in our beauty closet. Kels helped me pick out my new fave shade: Maybelline’s Are you Red-dy, a perfect cherry red with blueish undertones that secretly whiten my smile. It’s probably the least intimidating red out thereāa great starter red. One layer gives you a swipe of quick color, but you can apply more for a brighter effect. It’s also super moisturizing and miraculously didn’t end up all over my face, even hours later.
This universal shade is sure to be flattering on all skin tones. Can you guess what I’m wearing tonight?

I can NEVER rock red lips. They just don't look good on me! I just put on this pretty berry magenta shade that's not over the top.
