With the premiere of
Breaking Dawn Part 2 so close, we’ve
realized that it’s finally time for us to decide which team we’re on. But here
at GL, we’re having a lot of trouble
doing just that!
There are multiple reasons
why we love each of them, but we are completely torn. Read on to see our
arguments for each, and be sure to sound off on what team you’re on and why GL should join you.
He’s Got Vampiric Charm
On one hand, Edward Cullen
is totally romantic. No matter what happens, we know he’ll always love Bella.
He tried to kill himself when he thought she had died after all! We also love
how old-fashioned he can be…seeing as he’s actually 109 years old.
But at the same time, we
remember how cold and distant he could be. Who wants a BF who constantly
switches his mood? Also, he totally ditched Bella in New Moon. Sure, he thought he was keeping her safe by leaving, but
it was still absolutely heartbreaking. Is he capable of leaving her again, and
if so, could we truly be Team Edward in that case?
Fallin’ For my Bestie
Bella and Jake being
together is just like that super cute I’m-in-love-with-my-best-friend
scenario…except, of course, Jacob is a werewolf! We love how Jake totally
picked up the pieces for Bells when Edward left. And how adorable is it that
she thinks of him as her personal sunshine?!
However, we have to remember
that Jake also turned his back on Bella at one point. She was so fragile and
just getting over Edward, we couldn’t believe he’d do such a thing. Once again,
it was all to protect Bella. But seriously, how come none of these guys can
stick around and really be there for her? Plus, with Jake, Bella just doesn’t
feel the same amount of love as she feels for Edward. Is it really meant to be?
If all Bella and Jake will ever be is a fling, it’d be tough to side with Team
Jacob.
