Never been kissed: Why am I the odd girl out?


 
I'm 13 and never been kissed. I'm not even scared of it! But everyone (and I do mean EVERYONE) at my school has already. Why am I the odd girl out?
 
Trust me--your sitch does not make you odd at all, because it’s actually a very common one. Everyone’s different and gains their experiences with boys at different paces. So even if it seems like everyone else has secured a smooch, that isn’t at all the case, and that shouldn’t add pressure on you. Plus, credit goes out to you girl for not even being nervous! You should be proud of this and proud that you’re waiting for the right guy and time instead of spoiling that moment just because you wanna get it over with.
 
In all honesty hun, I felt the same way you did...and I didn’t even have my first kiss until I was 15! But the reality was that even though I felt like everyone else had been kissed, it just wasn’t true. There were a ton of girls in my grade stuck in my same situation but we were all too shy to talk about it. I’m sure that’s why it may seem like everyone else has had that experience, when really there are a bunch of girls your age who haven’t. So don’t let it get you down! Just be yourself, remain optimistic and set a goal to spark up a conversation with your crush the next time you see him to give that moment the kicks-start you want.

a kiss is too special to be given at thirteen. being in a relationship is too much at thirteen. at thirteen, people should enjoy their childhood while it lasts. they shouldn't worry about being kissed or kissing. (some people wait until their wedding day for their first kiss!)

I'm 18 and my lips are still virgin. It's not that big of a deal. Personally, I don't even think people should be dating at 13. Way too young. Just enjoy being a kid for now. Look forward to the first kiss but don't worry too much about it.

Kissing is great but dont feel pressured into doing it. So many times talking with friends leaves you wanting to do things they are doing or more and you may not be ready. Kissing leads to other things, so you need to know how far you want to go.

Don't be a in a rush to get your first kiss! Or any kiss at all! Would you rather get it over with and have it mean nothing at all, or wait for it and have it be spectacular? I was 17, and it was great! Sure, the relationship didn't last...but you never forget that first one!
