Check these out, too...
Hurricane Sandy caused billions of dollars worth of damage, as well as the loss of lives and homes. In an effort to help those in need, The Madison Square Garden Company will be hosting a one-night-only event on Wednesday, Dec. 12, in New York City: 12-12-12.
With a star-studded line-up, the concert is sure to raise lots of money for the amazing causes. From Bon Jovi to Kanye West, the event will showcase a multitude of musical royalty. It’s incredible how people are able to pull together in a time of need, and we love that this cause will be both entertaining and helpful.
The 12-12-12 concert will also have a telethon, so be sure to call in (with a parent’s permission, of course) to pledge! Every little bit helps to rebuild from the devastation of the east coast.
For more info on the upcoming concert, CLICK HERE.
Were you affected by Hurricane Sandy? How do you plan to help those devastated this holiday season? Blog about it, babes.

Sandy greatly impacted the North East, but worse things have happened to other parts of the country that don't get half the attention Sandy is getting. Many people did loose their life, loved ones, housing, etc.. but they did not prepare themselves for it and the damage it would cause. Many people fail to recognize that Sandy was not classified as a hurricane, it was classified as a tropical storm! There have been several hurricanes that hit the south east coast that were actually hurricanes and over 3 times the amount of people died and did not get as much media attention as Sandy! I'm not saying that people should not care, but worse things have happened and they got through it without the spotlight. Maybe next time something such as this happens they will not underestimate it and evacuate when they need to.
