12 Days of Christmas circuit challenge

 
On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…a totally healthy body! Start your new year off right by being in tip-top shape. Not only will ya feel better—we’re talking sleeping better, eating better and doing better in school—but you’ll have tons of confidence, too. Talk about a gift worth giving to Y-O-U!

 

1 minute of speed walking followed by 30 seconds of running full-out, following by 30 seconds of jogging, then 1 minute of running full-out, following by 1 minute of jogging
 
2 sets of 10 bicep curls with each arm
 
3 minutes of jumping rope without bouncing on your toes
 
4 sprints. Pick a spot about 100 feet away, dash down, dash back and repeat.
 
5 burpees. Squat down on the ground and then jump up. When you come back down, land lightly in your squat. Pause for a breath, then repeat.
 
6 jumping jacks
 
7 push-ups
 
8 shadow boxing punches on each side
 
9 standing crunches. Stand tall with your feet spread shoulders’ width apart. Place your right hand on the side of your head, elbow out, then bring your left knee up. Cross your knee and elbow across your body toward each other to do the “crunch.” Do nine on each side.
 
10 sets of stairs—and keep those knees high!
 
11 full sit-ups
 
12 minutes of biking at a brisk pace
