3 festive sweat seshes to try with your friends

 
Can't wait for Santa to slide down the chimney? Work off some excitement with your very best sistahs in tow. We've got three fun activities that double--triple?--as your weekend workout. Three cheers for a sweat sesh with your sweeties!
 
Run, Run, Reindeer

Get a group of friends together and line up in pairs of two (like you’re going to pull a sleigh). Start off on a nice jog to warm up then the two girls in the front will race on either sides of the line to the front once they get there the girls who are now the back will do the same thing. Aim so that each pair sprints 5 times.

 

The Grinch

Imagine pulling that sleigh with all of those presents up a mountain. Sounds super hard, right? Imitate that by attaching a rope to an old belt or harness wrapped around your waist. Have a friend hold the other end of the rope. Start with high knee lifts in place, then move forward doing high knee lifts as fast as you can while your friend only walks forward (you will be pulling her slightly). Go about 10 yard then switch, aim for going six times each.

 

The Nutcracker

Got a few gals who aren’t afraid to look silly—and can definitely bring it on the dance floor? Whether your primas or not, this one’ll be a blast. Divvy up The Nutcracker score (or let your sistahs choose their favorite holiday songs) and have each chica choreograph her own dance. Come back together and perform your hearts out. Give awards for best move, most creative solo and most enthusiastic. Dare we say costumes are mandatory? Wink wink!
