So i like one of my best friends. I've liked him many times and I told him I liked him again, because we made a deal to do that. We were texting last night(that's when I told him) and he was cool with it, making jokes cause a lot of our friends think we should be together. He also said he had thought about us being a couple and that it wasnt entirely impossible. I then told him I wanted to ask him a question. He thought I was going to ask him out, so he said that he didnt want to ruin our friendship because he was scared that if we dated, that if/when we broke up, we wouldnt talk and he didnt say no, just that he would have to think about it.
Earlier, we were talking about who we would want to kiss on New Years Eve. When he asked me, he asked who i wanna kiss in general, not just on New Years Eve, to which I responded that I would kiss him. He said that he would have kissed me.
