Check these out, too...
Though she’ll still be returning for reconstructive surgery and check-ups, she’s doing well enough to head home on a permanent basis—and continue supporting the cause that nearly killed her. She was shot at point-blank range because she vehemently disagreed with the Taliban’s interpretation of Islam, which limits a girl’s right to education. She was on her way home from school when it happened.
We’re thrilled to see her waving as she leaves the hospital, and we know that she’ll take up the standard for women’s rights once again…and hopefully encourage and inspire other girls and women to do so, as well. Congrats, Malala, and get well soon!
Leave your best wishes and congratulations below, babes!

I have written an original song and made a video honoring Malala. Malala and her family actually watched it and contacted me to thank me! It was so wonderful to hear from them. Please go to Youtube and search for Ricochet (Malala's Song). I think you will really like the song and video! Malala deserves all of our support. Meghan D.
