Check these out, too...
Dear Slobby Sister,
Your sister’s mess probably isn’t due to hostility or laziness. More likely, it’s absentmindedness and a reflection of different styles and standards. Neat people and slobby people really are wired differently.
What to do? Instead of nagging, which isn’t working anyway, break the pattern and praise your sister the next time she does even a little picking up. And, ask your parents if they would consider giving your sister an allowance only after she does some straightening.

Trust me,I share a room with one of the messiest sisters in the universe, but when she doesn't clean up after herself I usually confront her or my 'rents and she does clean up(eventually).Sometimes its really hard for them because they get distracted very easily, but sooner or later they will do it and grow out of the messy stage(hopefully). Hope this helped)

I so wish I could offer some great advice. Unfortunately since I’m not an expert on the matter, I don’t want to point you in the wrong direction. Try having a chat with the good old ‘rents. I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to help you get things squared away. ♥, Your Blog Patrol Babes

I have been sharing a room with my younger sister my whole too. The problem is that our room is too small for both our beds and other furniture to be in there without it looking cramped. How I wish I could just stuff her bed in the attic or something... ;)
