Can someone map out an escape route?

I was stuck on a really boring trip with my older sister and dad. Our dad wanted to take us to some really good restaurant but got us lost on the way. I was already in a pretty bad mood since we had already been walking around in circle in the middle of nowhere so I grabbed the map to look at. I didn't think I'd have any problem reading and walking but the next thing I knew I slammed right into a street post. My sister looked back and asked if I was okay. About that time I noticed these really cute guys across the street who had seen what happened and were now trying not to laugh too hard. I think my ego took a bigger hit than my forehead...

One of my bffs is moving out of the country at the end of the school year. I have a really tight circle of friends, and a lot of things will change when she leaves. I'm really sad and me and my other BFF might plan a huge going away party, and she is making a slide show of a bunch of pics we will play in front of a group of people. I know she's definitely moving and is going to have to have a whole other life there, but she is really sad and so are we. What can I give her/make her/ do for her to help her remember us and stay in touch?? Thanks in advance ;)

I think you're idea is the best thing a friend could do- a going away party with a slide show! You guys will be able to keep in touch easily with phones and social networking. Maybe right before she leaves, you can give her a personal present like a friendship necklace.
