Simple girl Scarlet Benoit lived with her grandma on a vegetable farm in the south of France—until Grandma disappeared. Now, Scarlet will stop at nothing to find and save her grandmother—and she won’t even let the brooding street-fighter known as Wolf intimidate her.

In fact, Scarlet’s drawn to Wolf and the dark mystery surrounding his past. She hopes he can offer some clues about her grandma’s disappearance. Ignoring any hesitation she feels about Wolf, Scarlet follows her heart and the two unlikely travel pals sets off for Paris, both seeking their own sort of answers.

As Scarlet and Wolf work to solve one puzzle, they find another when they cross paths with fugitive Cinder. Together, the group must stay one step ahead of the evil and wretched Lunar Queen, who will do anything to end Cinder’s love story with Prince Kai.
