One day my friend was walking in the hall with her BF when one of his friends came up and tripped her on purpose. I was at the other end of the hall, so I couldn't do anything. Her BF kept walking, completely ditching her. Then his friend asked jokingly, "Hey man, why don't you help your GF up?" Her BF then replied, "You know I would, but she's not my GF anymore." They both then laughed and walked away while my friend was still on the ground. Apparently they had set that whole thing up just so he could break up with her.
