Ouch, way to break the fall


 
One day my friend was walking in the hall with her BF when one of his friends came up and tripped her on purpose. I was at the other end of the hall, so I couldn't do anything. Her BF kept walking, completely ditching her. Then his friend asked jokingly, "Hey man, why don't you help your GF up?" Her BF then replied, "You know I would, but she's not my GF anymore." They both then laughed and walked away while my friend was still on the ground. Apparently they had set that whole thing up just so he could break up with her.

Hey girl, that's a toughie. The heart wants what the heart wants. What could help would be...try and stay away from the bgf and give him a little more space. It's okay to have a crush though!

So my bf and i broke up a couple months ago, but then got back together. So the one year anniversary of our starting to date is approaching. We're not sure if we should count the day we first started dating as our 1 year anniversary. What do you think? Thanks!!!!!!

Hey girlie,

I would talk to him and decide together--if you want to use your first day you started dating you could, or if you didn't want to, it's not totally necessary that you have an anniversary date. You could just celebrate being together on a special day like Valentine's Day or choose a day that's special to both of you!

Me and my old bff don't really hang out any more. We both have strong personalities and both like to do things our own way. Were not in the same homeroom so we don't have any classes together. I decided to leave her "Posse" to have out with some other friends. Now, she doesn't even walk out with me when school is over she either leaves before I come out or walks out with her new bff. She waves to me, says hi or asks me to peel her orange. That's it, do you think she still claims herself as my bff or did she move on? Is it possible she's hurt by this because I kind of am. I'd try to talk to her she's never alone or I never see her.

 

Hey Girl, girls often go through phases, and she probably misses you as much as you miss her. Ask her to hang out just you and her, a girls night will help you guys reconcile.

Hey Girl, I'm sorry you feel that way. Sometimes you have to remember that guys aren't that different from us. It's scary to tell someone you're into them and you probably don't know all the guys that DO like you. And honestly, you're a strong, independent woman growing up in a time where you don't need a guy. It's totally fine to be single right now, and in the mean time, don't worry, one day you'll find the guy who loves you as much as you love him.

This boy at my karate was my partner for kicking, and he said something mean/sarcastic to me, meaning that I sucked at kicking. I had my period, so I get mad very easily at that time of the month. I kicked him as hard as I could on the hip without even thinking. He said "owwww!". I felt horrible after that, partly because I don't want to hurt anyone and partly because my crush saw. And they're friends. Do you think he told my crush? Will my crush think of me as a bad person? Should I tell the friend that I'm sorry, but what he said was mean? Thanks (:

 

 

Hey Girl, you're right, that probably wan't the best way to get your crush to notice you. However, I don't know if he will think you are a bad person because of it. I would probably guess he thought you stood up for yourself, which is good. Whether or not you should apologize? That's up to you. Honestly, I personally think that because you were at karate and kicking him was to be expected, you shouldn't have to.
