hey girl! I have an EOS lip balm, and while it's super cute and smells great, it doesn't work as well as some of my other lip balms. Right now I'm really loving baby lips, as well as the classic chapstick brand.

If you add up the costs (excluding the eyeliner that is WAY expensive) it only equals 23 dollars. That is pretty good for Girl's Life!

I'm sure you can find a white eyeliner at your local thrift store that is super cheap as well, so over all the cost for 5 make-up products would be around $30

Ok,so there are these girls in my class that wear makeup and i don't well one day a girl came and asked me ( with a bit of attitude) why i don't wear makeup...well the next day i put on some lipstick and eyeshadow and my best friend freaked out that i was wearing makeup. So...at 12 years old should i or should i not wear makeup,idk what to do!

I really hope you answer this, because my questions are ALWAYS ignored Frown I don't think I've gotten an answer from a MOD in about a month! Frown So anyway, I have two questions. If if use the Clean and Clear Morning Burst wash, should I also use the BB Cream after? And also, how do you apply eye liner? Lol I'm new to it, and I'm kinda confused on how to wear it. Hey chica! Clean & Clear is a face wash, while BB Cream is more of a makeup, or foundation. I was my face and put on moisturizer, then apply BB Cream before my makeup. As for eyeliner, practice makes perfect. Spend a night or two experimenting in front of a mirror. You'll get the hang of it Smile

I'm new to make-up and i was wondering what are the basics that everyone should have and what they do?

 

Hey! I was new to make up pretty recently too Smile The basics I like to keep around are a tinted moisturizer with spf 15 for foundation. It evens out your skin tone, moisturizes, and protects your face. it's so great. some basic black eyeliner, some eye shadow that brings out your eyes (try a complimentary color, pretty much anything works except your own eye color. aka brown eye shadow with brown eyes doesn't quite make 'em pop) and your favorite lip product is good to have, whether it's cherry chapstick or fire engine red lipstick Smile

An eye cream or concealer would work wonders at hiding and curing dark circles. I would talk to your mom or the salesperson at a beauty store to find products that will work for you!

I saw the Tip of the Day and it was about the cornstarch and the nail polish, do you pour the cornstarch into the bottle? and is there anything else you could use because I dont think I have any cornstarch lol and 2nd question, I was thinking about wearing some baggy grey sweatpants, they are dark grey,what should I wear with them it is gunna be 63 degrees tomorrow, where I live, I want to look cute but not over dressed because I'm sick Frown Thanks soo much, sorry this is soo long<3

I think you would put cornstarch on your nail itself, because if you put it in the bottle it might mess up the polish. If you don't have cornstarch, there are topcoats that will mattify your nails. If you are wearing sweatpants, a tee or a long-sleeved tee with a sweatshirt would be fine! Feel better!

Over the summer i got some make up and my neighbor taught me how to use it, except since it was summer, she didn't tell us how to use tinted moistureiser or what its used for. Thanks for the help!

Hey girlie,

Tinted moisturizer is a great foundation substitute if you don't need a lot of coverage. But if you're wearing a BB cream or foundation, it's totally fine to use a regular moisturizer!

This is gonna sound pretty redundant but... what IS dry shampoo? Like, obvi its exactly what it says: dry shampoo. But, how do you... like, apply it? Is it a spray or something? And on a different note, NOT regarding the dry shampoo, how long is too long without washing your hair??? Like, I take showers atleast every other day, but when I straighten my hair I dont like to wash it right away because it will ruin it. So how long do you think I can go without washing my hair? PLEASE answer this!!!! Thanks!

 

Hey girl, sometimes it a spray and other times its a mousse type product. -- It depends on hair type. I have to wash my hair everyday. Other people wash their hair every other day or every two days.

How can you make a ponytail and then braid a strand of hair from the ponytail? I really want to but I don't know how.

Maybe you could make the braid first and secure it with a small elastic like a clear one that won't show, and then ponytail the rest of your hair!
