With Winter Storm Nemo bearing down on the Northeast, we’re gearing up for a weekend of cocoa, puffer coats and (sigh) shoveling. Up the fun factor with our top-20 list of fun things to do when a blizzard (or even a flurry!) is heading your way.
Have a snowball fight with your neighborhood friends.
Build an igloo.
Catch a snowflake on your tongue.
Build a snowman! The quirkier the better.
Drink hot apple cider to warm you up.
Snuggle up with your BF and have a movie marathon. You can watch the snow fall from indoors.
Go sledding with your friends.
Drink hot cocoa. Extra marshmallows please!
Make some extra cash by offering to shovel your neighbors’ driveways.
Make a snow angel.
Say cheese! Take pics of you and your buds out in the snow.
Go ice skating.
Curl up and read a book. The snowfall is the perf backdrop.
Do a snow dance so maybe you can get one or two more snow days! A girl can dream.
Host your own winter Olympics with all your neighborhood pals.

Walk your pup around the neighborhood. Your pup will go nuts for snow and bonus: a walk is great exercise.
Have a game day with your fam. Monopoly, Scrabble, or Parcheesi anyone?
Invite all your babes over for a sleepover. If you get snowed in the next day you’ll have your besties to get you through it!
