There is very little we love
more than a new One Direction music video. Those singing cuties are adorable.
But their new vid they did for the song
“One
Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)” is even better than usual because they
filmed it themselves! Oh, and even better than that? They did it for charity.
When the clip starts, the
guys are driving through Africa and they explain that this year, they’ve decided to make a single to raise money for Comic
Relief, a British charity that helps people in the U.K. and Africa who lead
really tough lives.
"So instead of spending a load of money on a
music video, we decided to make it ourselves while we were on tour and give the
money we saved to Comic Relief," concludes Harry. 1D singing for a good
cause? We can totally get on board with that.
The video follows the guys around as they’re
singing all over the world, from New York to London to Japan. Not to mention it
includes a shirtless Zayn (swoon), a grinning Harry, and a showering Niall
before the boys wrap it up in Africa, reminding us what the vid is really all
about.
All proceeds from the song will help those
affected by famine in Africa and celebrates the 25th anniversary of
Red Nose Day (a fundraising event on March 25th).
