That’s why we can’t wait for things to warm up and the flowers come into bloom. So, while we’re waiting, we’ve put together a list of our fave movies that remind us of all things light-hearted and carefree. Read on to see which flicks put that little extra spring in our step.
13 Going on 30
Jennifer Garner’s character is adorable and hilarious in this funny chick flick. This movie makes our list because of all the great spring dresses, hilarious antics, and general fun and lightness. It’s perfect for lifting blah winter spirits.
Definitely one of Julie Andrews’ best movies, this flick reminds us of spring days when we were little. Not to mention the adorable Mary Poppins tunes always put us in a great mood. We just want to jump right onto that magical sidewalk world and ride carousel horses around town as the flowers bloom.
Can you say classic? Yes, we all know every single line, which makes it even more fun to watch. Have a contest with friends to see who knows the most lines—we bet it’ll be a close competition! We heart this flick because it’s totally lighthearted, just like springtime.
Probably the most spring-related movie of all time, Bambi was an absolute must on our list. The woodland animals, the gorgeous forest, the tragic story…we just like to watch to absorb all the cheeriness and catchy tunes.
So we know this movie is about school (and a little bit of summer), but there’s something so romantic and spring-y about the tumultuous relationship between Sandy and Danny. Plus, those vintage styles are making an appearance this spring season, so watching this movie is a great way to grab some inspiration.

I used to cry every time I watched Bambi. It's so sad :/ But it's a great movie, and so is Mary Poppins. I used to watch both of those all the time!(:
