Hey girl! Ugh, the "bad boy" act can be so annoying. To figure out if his not-so-cool attitude is here to stay, find a time when just the two of you can have a chat. Avoid lunchtime or in between classes when your friends are everywhere. Make sure the only person he's thinking about or trying to impress is you. Then, tell him how you're feeling. Say that you think he likes you, and that makes you happy, but you're not sure if he really does because he's always acting mean to you around other people. What gives? Listen to what he has to say. If he apologizes and says he'll treat you with the respect you deserve, whether or not his crowd of friends is around, awesome! There's hope for you and this boy.

However, if he comes back with a mean retort and is unable to leave the attitude at the door, even when talking with only you, then it's probs time to say goodbye.
