5 ab blasters for a spring break bikini bod

Planning on lying on the beach and checking out some cuties this spring break? Even if you just wish you were going somewhere, the warmer weather has to get you thinking about shedding off those layers and getting ready for summer. Soon you’ll be pulling out your bikini and getting ready to go to the pool. Sigh. Here are a few moves that will get you those rock hard abs for your bikini bod in no time.

Russian Twists

While balancing on your butt lift your shoulders and legs off the ground.  Then twist your knees to the right while twisting your upper body in the opposite direction (to the left) and touch your hands to the ground. Now do the opposite by twisting you legs to the left and your upper body to the right. Aim for 20 reps.

Side Crunches

In the same position you were in the Russian Twists, lean to one side.  Bend your legs and sit up so you’re knees are almost touching your chest, then straighten your legs and lower your shoulders at the same time. Come back up so you’re in your original position. Aim for 20 reps before you switch sides and repeat.


Lying on your back with your arms above your head, raise your arms and legs at the same time. You should look like a “V” with your butt on the ground. Then lower your shoulders and legs. Try to do 20 with out letting your legs touch the ground


It’s as simple as it sounds. Roll over so you’re on your stomach, then raise your body up onto your forearms. Make sure to keep your body straight and try holding it for a minute.

Leg Raises

Start by lying down on your back and placing one foot on top of the other.  Raise both legs straight up so your body is at a 90 degree angle, and then lower your legs so they’re only a few inches off the ground. Aim for 20 reps and switch legs.
