New release alert: The Blood of Eden series continues with "The Eternity Cure"

Allison Sekemoto’s dystopian saga continues in The Eternity Cure, the second installment of Julie Kagawa’s Blood of Eden series.

This time, Allison must rescue her creator, Kanin—and all of creation itself. She’ll return to the terrifying place it all began…but finds she must make another impossible choice in her battle to save humankind.

A destitute beginning…
In The Immortal Rules, Allison was an unregistered human merely surviving as an outcast in a world of vampires. In this post-apocalyptic world where the undead reign, humans are practically farmed as blood cattle. Allie lived in fear, desperately scavenging food by day and just hoping to survive the night—until she was attacked and forced to make a choice: die or become one of them and live an everlasting life. A revengeful return…
Now, Allison’s back in The Eternity Cure—and she’s fierce as ever. Kanin, the vampire who turned her undead, is being tortured by the sinister Sarren. To save him, Allie must return to New Covington and the Fringe—the outermost circle of the vampire city—where she’ll face more than just a psychotic blood-sucker.

Pining for the boy she left behind, she must also muster the strength to face a new strain of Red Lung, the virus threatening the lives of both humans and vampires. Will her race to find the cure prove successful? Or will her quest be thwarted by the Rabids, the savage souls diseased with Red Lung? Finding the cure would mean saving what’s left of humanity—but it would also mean saving the monsters she’s hated all along, even if she’s one of them.
