Get perfect beach waves without setting foot on the sand

Sick of your strands? Spice things up with gorgeous beach waves. These tousled tresses will give you the perfect amount of style and body to really summerize your look. Follow these simple steps to snag perfect waves—just like Gigi Hadid's!
Step 1: Section hair into two parts. Start with either the left or right side of the head, and tie the other side back with a ponytail or clip so it doesn’t get in your way.
Step 2: Using a clampless curling rod, begin to curl ½ to 1-inch pieces until the whole side is done. Be sure to make the pieces different sizes and curl them in both directions.

Step 3: When you have finished one side, move onto the other. When both sides are curled, use your fingers to lightly brush out the curls and then immediately spray hair with hairspray.

Expert tips
- Straighten random sections of hair throughout. This will make your hair look less “done up” and more like natural looking waves!
- Add hair chalk! Color the ends of your hair or just a few strands a bright hue.
