6 can't-wait-for-summer workouts

 
School may be over, but don’t let the summer drift away in a lazy haze! Seize the season with these special-for-summer activities. They’ll give you a workout-but more importantly--tons of fun!

 

Go for a dip

With gravity out of the way, water activities let you use your whole bod at the same time. You’ll get a full-body workout while staying cool in the pool! Swim laps, challenge your buds to a treading contest, or just play around.

 

Jog on the beach

A jog on the beach may seem simple, but you’ll be shocked at how much trickier it is to run on a sinking surface. Sand makes your legs and your heart work harder to burn more cals in a shorter time.

 

Kayak or canoe

Get those arms tank-top toned with a day at sea. These little boats are not only adorbs, but they’ll also work you out. Before you know it, all that paddling will make ya break a sweat!

 

Hike

Get a great workout and a great view! Do some researching and find a hiking trail, then pick and buddy and climb your way to your dream bod. Make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen to beat the heat, and don’t forget to take in the gorg summer outdoors.

 

Bike

The sunny season is the perf time to try out this cardio workout. Plus, the breeze will keep you cool while you tone those legs.

 

Play frisbee

Burn 179 calories and hour with this surprisingly good-for-ya game. Pick the perf sunny day to grab the whole fam and see how many times you can toss without dropping!
