Journey into the future with Neptune's Tears

Filled with futuristic plots and lively twists, Neptune’s Tears by Susan Waggoner is a cool read that’s bound to keep you on your toes. Pick it up and dive into the story of Zee, a girl living in London, over two hundred years in the future.

It’s the year 2218 and aliens live among humans—but many choose to keep their identities secret. Zee is a 17-year-old healer living in London, looking forward to an amazing career. But one day, she walks into a room to treat a patient and is shocked for several reasons. First, she is inexplicably drawn to this person. And then he tells her he is an alien. Though humans and aliens have occupied Earth together for a long time, Zee has never met one.

Falling for David is risky, and would put both her career and heart on the line. The biggest problem? David is mysterious. He says they can’t be together, but Zee knows there’s a connection between them. Zee knows he’s hiding something, but what could it be?

As Zee tries to come to terms with her psychic abilities and London comes under attack by anarchist bombings, she must choose how far she wants to follow this strange alien boy—and how far he may take her from who she used to be. This science fiction romance is a perfect summer read, with an ending that’s a huge cliffhanger!

To find out what happens to Zee, be sure to check out Neptune’s Tears when it hits stores June 25. Then come back and share your thoughts.
