Get psyched for the summer PLL premiere with a murder mystery party

The Pretty Little Liars’ summer premiere is just days away! Celebrate the return of your favorite show with your own PLL posse…and the perfect whodunit party. Mark your calendar: PLL returns June 10 at 8 ET/7 CT

What is a murder mystery party?

A murder mystery party is like the board game Clue but acted out with real people. Usually set around dinner, you and your friends can enjoy delish food while acting out a crime script.

Make it the perf party

Step 1: Have a script

You can either create one yourself or get a kit that does everything for you (host-party.com has some or you can google murder mystery party games). If you’re feelin’ creative (or not – you can get kits that are customized) try writing a PLL script. Reacting the show with your friends will be totes fun!

Step 2: Dress like your character

Yep, that’s right, get into costume. Wearing what your character would wear will make the game that much more fun and believable. Besides, who wouldn’t want to be sporting a funky outfit like Aria or a glam one like Hannah?

Step 3: Act like your character

The more in character you are, the more entertaining the party will be. You and your friends will have tons of laughs!

Step 4: Prizes!

Not necessary but a prize for whoever solves the mystery makes it more exciting. Try matching the prize to the theme of the party. PLL theme – can you say “I Heart Mr. Fitz” tee?

Have you ever thrown or been to a murder mystery party and what was it like? Blog about it, babes.
